Love is universal, eternal and unconditional. It can be love for yourself, for God, for your family, for your friends, for the environment, for your country, for what you are doing, for something and the most common is love for your significant other. I’m no expert at this but I picked up a few good thoughts along the way. I learned that it needs trust, honesty, consistency, faith, communication, respect, understanding, passion and a lot more. It is more than those romantic movies and novels. Distance, age, height, sex, religion, physical appearance, race, time, size and circumstances do not matter. You still accept and love them in anyway. Despite one’s imperfections and shortcomings, you still find each other beautiful, amazing and unlike any other.
They say pain is never a reason to let go because both of you can make or break the relationship. You don’t demand, assume or expect but still both are willing to do anything for each other. You don’t have to pretend or lie. You are just yourself and you feel really happy when you are in love because you are both crazy for each other. You can talk and laugh about anything. You can still do things you love with them or you can just sit in silence and feel happy. Wherever you both go or whatever you both do, it is magical. Even though fairytales don’t exist, true love does. And it doesn’t have a happy ending because real love doesn’t end. Even afterlife.
Love is more than a feeling. It’s a choice made by two souls to be together through thick or thin. You can make it happen. More often than not, loving is risking. You become scared but you still believe you both will make it through together. You have to fight for the one you love. As long as what you are doing is right and you are both happy, then everything will fall perfectly into place. You just have to have faith and love. Everything takes time and it will be worth it in the end.
But sometimes, you have let go and be happy for the one you truly love. I believe that if you really love the person, you have to set them free and if they really love you they will come back. Love can’t be easily defined and must be felt. Love differs from one person to another but whatever it means, it is the best reason to be happy.
